Day 1095— Tulips — Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day

Today’s beauty was again found in the garden. It was two white tulips striped with red. One was beside the stone path to the hummingbird feeder. The other was across the sidewalk by itself. Most of the tulips were scattered around the garden accidentally when we plowed it all in last year. I’m glad to see some of them coming up. I also found a columbine plant just behind the compost pile against the back of the garage. This plant is entirely in shade, but it is the only columbine ready to bloom.
