Day 667 — Birthday Wishes — Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day
Today’s beauty started early with birthday wishes. My eldest woke me with a call first thing this morning. Then when I went in the kitchen I found a beautiful card and candy left by my husband. Soon after my parents called and sang happy birthday.
I also hosted a prayer group today in honor of my friend and those ladies sang to me and had a beautiful card. We shared memories of our friend and the gratitude we had for being able to call her friend. It was a beautiful tribute and period of healing.
I spent the rest of the day just watching TV with my daughter who was home from college.
This evening my youngest son called and we spoke for quite awhile. Then at the end of the day my husband gave me a card from his mother and another beautiful card from himself.
I am truly blest and grateful for friends and family.
