Day 502 — Beach Life — Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day
Today’s beauty was the beauty of plants and creatures making their life near the sandy beaches. I’ve been privileged to see many different creatures and plants today. It started with tiny fish swimming in the predawn light, then a large heron. I saw many gulls and other seabirds as well as finch. I was privileged to see many brown pelicans. I saw a number of sea cucumbers and a small jellyfish. I saw flowers growing out of the sand. Golden skies of dawn and pink evening clouds began and ended my day. Not all were great beauties, but beautiful in their own unique existence
