Day 199– Peacock- Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day.

Today’s beauty came in the form of a peacock. We were walking around at the zoo and a peacock came out of the bushes and jumped up on the rail. It’s beautiful blue head glimmering. The iridescent blue and green colors were even more splendid in the bright sunlight. It jumped down and started walking down the road, We followed behind. It only had two feathers remaining in it’s tail. One of the feathers fell out as it walked. Some older tens swooped in and grabbed the feather, but then gave it to my granddaughter. Of course she walked around as proud as a peacock.
