Day 190 –Iris- Haibun Journey View From My Window
Looking out my window I see iris blooming in my garden. I wasn’t sure there would be any. I dug up my entire garden last August and cleaned the iris bulbs with bleach after removing any dead spots. The main reason I dug them up was that ants were paralyzing grub worms and leaving them inside the bulbs. Anyway they are starting to bloom again. Not as profusely, but that was expected.
