Day –188- Haibun Journey Daily Thoughts — Spring Hatching
Today new had another surprise. The first of our ten overwintering black swallowtails hatched. It chose quite a breeze day for it’s maiden journey. Most of the others should hatch over the next week, except the one that fell down soon after the chrysalis was formed, Can’t wait too see them. There are also six of my seven kinds of kinds of daffodil blooming in the garden today. They are trying to naturalize my garden as are a myriad of tiny grape hyacinth. It was a lovely day out.
