Day –187- Haibun Journey Daily Thoughts — Tulips
Today I had the lovely surprise of the first tulips blooming in my garden. There were two pinkish red tulips open and a yellow one that should open soon. Yesterday we took a walk around the block and saw lots of yards with flowering trees and tulips in bloom, So I was glad mine did not wait long to follow suit, The bits of green on the maple are now tiny spring green colored leaves and are covering the entire tree making the branches and birds more difficult to see.
