Day –124 — Haibun Journey Daily Thoughts — Kirby
Today I finished working on my latest dog portrait. Now to just block the quilt and then in the morning sew him to acid free foam core. Once that is done I will mount it on a canvas frame and wrap it with the purple background fabric. Really hoping the client likes it. I’ve made the eyes a bit dimensional and his ear is floppy. Well the ear looks floppy but it is actually stiff so it holds it’s shape well. Anyway, one project finished for the year, three more to sew, three more to start cutting out and about a hundred bookmarks to make. Hoping to be more productive this year and get a lot more of my old ideas made into projects and get the new ones down on paper.
