Day 1173— Red- Haibun Journey Beauty Each Day

Today’s beauty is in the garden, it is red flowers. We have tall stalks of bergamot with star shaped blossoms scenting the breeze. A tiny minatory rose pokes it’s above the tall grass. Crocosmia grows through out the garden. It has fronds that unfurl and open up with the smaller buds at the top and the larger at the front. There are several types of red coneflowers but they do not seem to attract as many insects.
